Nike Golf Opens Nation’s First

Canongate Golf, in partnership with Nike Golf, announces the grand opening of the Nike Golf 360 Fitting Center (NG 360) at Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth, Ga. The NG 360 Fitting Center is a full-service custom club-fitting and game improvement facility aimed at providing players of all levels PGA Tour quality service. The state-of-the-art facility strives to equip players with the proper equipment to enhance their ball-striking ability, which ultimately leads to better scores and more enjoyment of the game.
?Having proper fitting clubs can make a tremendous difference in a player?s game, and we can all agree that it?s more fun to play when you?re doing well,? said Joe Guerra, president and CEO of Canongate Golf. ?We?re honored that Nike selected our Bentwater club for this unprecedented facility and are excited to provide such advance club fitting technology and training techniques to our Canongate members and the Atlanta community.?
The facility?s cutting-edge technology coupled with its wide selection of golf club component combinations guarantees the most precise fitting available today. Among the many advance tools featured at the Center are the Flight Scope Radar technology which tracks the flight of the ball and provides detailed data to assist in determining club specs; the SAM Putt Lab that measures stroke dynamics; and the V1 video technology to analyze the golf swing technique. For indoor training purposes, the building can convert to a completely indoor facility.
Grand Opening Festivities
In celebration of its grand opening, the Nike 360 Fitting Center is hosting a community day on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festivities will include speed trials, product demos, golf clinics, contests and more. Former NFL stars Kordell Stewart and Greg Lloyd will be joining in on the fun to go head-to-head in the speed trials.
The Nike 360 Fitting Center is located at Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth, Ga., and is led by PGA professional and Nike elite staff member Scott Szymoniak and Nike staff member Justin Tackett. Bentwater Golf Club is owned by Canongate Golf, which owns and operates 23 private golf clubs throughout metro-Atlanta. The facility is open daily from 7am -7pm.
